The RESTART project objective is to restore the emotional and psychological well-being of the (ex) prisoners, in order to promote their inclusion in the social context.
The project has 3 objectives:
- Provide tools to the staff that works inside the prison to support the emotional and psychological well-being of the inmates;
- Support the inmates in the development and re-discovery of their socio-emotional skills;
- Promote (ex) prisoners’ social inclusion beyond the prisons.
Restore, Rise, Impact
The first project activity (Restore) will be the collection and description of intervention methodologies, including a field needs analysis for the development of an eBook.
In the second phase (RISE), a model approach will be planned, developed, and tested with beneficiaries to increase inmates’ social-emotional skills.
Finally, RESTART recommendations (Impact) will be collected and disseminated as Guidelines, as well as developing short video testimonials and learning pathways to facilitate social inclusion.
Results of the project
The project will result in an eBook: “Methodological Baseline for Restoring Emotional and Psychological well-being” This eBook is aiming at educators, to help them to support the emotional and psychological well-being of prisoners.
The next result will be: “The Model Approach to Rise the socio-emotional skills of inmates”
Finally the “Guidelines to Restart beyond the prisons” and 4 Learning Pathways will be developed and disseminated with the local and European associations`.
