This project aims at preventing juvenile offending through a youth mentoring program. It focuses on creating a structured non-formal education intervention that connects young individuals in conflict with the law to supportive, law-abiding adult mentors. By fostering positive attitudes and behaviours, it aims to reduce the likelihood of incarceration and help youth reintegrate into society. Key outputs include a mentoring program tailored for justice-involved youth, a comprehensive handbook for mentors, and a mobile application to facilitate the mentoring process. Partners from Portugal, Belgium, Greece, Ireland, Italy and Romania are involved in this project.
