Two books on art in prisons
A European project among to produce and publish two educational books explaining and displaying different aspects of artwork in the prison. The project started in 2020 and will end in 2022.
Artists involved in working in prisons will find different approaches to their work in the books.

The books aim to promote art education in prisons, search for professional associates, the exchange of knowledge and the dissemination of the good practices that have been implemented in the European prisons in the last decades.
The books will also inform the prison system’s staff about artistic activities, seen from different perspectives like the field of medicine and psychology, but also from an artistic point of view.
